Like traditional Bircher muesli, this lovely blend of gluten-free oats, nuts and seeds, and dried fruit can be enjoyed for breakfast in many ways: hot with brown sugar like porridge; cold with milk; or soaked overnight with yogurt and shredded apple. Consider this muesli a jumping-off point: pour coconut milk over these muesli flakes for a non-dairy breakfast, or add goji berries for extra antioxidants. You can also add peanut butter for extra protein, or top it with a mixture of maple syrup, honey, or coconut oil. However, muesli isn’t just for breakfast: you can eat these grains out of the bag as a snack or bake it up in cookies and quick bread.
