About PureWick Flex Female External Catheter
The PureWick Flex Female External Catheter is a non-invasive wick designed with a soft, flexible fabric that draws voided urine away from the body, which is pulled away by the PureWick Urine Collection System into a collection canister.

For use with PureWick Urine Collection System (PW100 or PW200).
Key Benefits & Features
- Designed to fit around the contours of your body for a comfortable fit that stays in place
- New bendable tubing fits with various body types
- New multi-layer technology is designed to help keep the skin dry
- Captures voided urine whether you are seated, reclined, or laying down
Directions
First, perform perineal care and ensure the system is properly set up with the correct suction. Next, position the catheter by placing the soft gauze side against the patient, with the bottom of the wick aligned with the gluteal cleft. Gently tuck the gauze between the labia, ensuring the top of the gauze is against the pubic bone. The labia and gluteus muscles will hold the device in place. To remove, turn off the suction, spread the labia, and pull the device straight out to avoid skin injury.
