Chocolate Day: Best Carewell Products of 2024 & Free Recipes

Happy National Chocolate Day! Arguably the best day of the year, Chocolate Day lets us celebrate all things cocoa. Although another holiday, International Chocolate Day (or, World Chocolate Day), is July 7th, we aren’t bitter about getting another chance to break out some of our favorite sweets. White chocolate, dark chocolate, or hot chocolate? Keep reading to see our top-rated products for Chocolate Day plus two free recipes!

But first, a quick Q&A about chocolate:

What are the benefits of chocolate?

Chocolate, specifically dark chocolate, is known to have health benefits, including being high in antioxidants. The higher the cocoa content the chocolate has, the better the benefits! So if you plan to have plain chocolate for Chocolate Day, eat some dark chocolate!

Where does chocolate come from?

Chocolate comes from cacao trees and plants. From cacao trees come cacao beans, which are bigger than you might think! The process includes taking the fruit out of the cacao beans, fermenting, and then roasting the contents. This creates cacao nibs, which can then be blended into creamy chocolate!
