How do I take Nexium 24HR Clear Minis?
Adults 18 years of age and older should swallow one capsule with a glass of water before eating in the morning. Take it every day for 14 days. Do not crush or chew the capsules.
How long does it take for the full effect?
It may take 1 to 4 days for the full effect. This product is not intended for the immediate relief of heartburn.
Can I repeat the 14-day course of treatment?
You may repeat a 14-day course every 4 months if needed. Do not use for more than 14 days or more often than every 4 months unless directed by a doctor.
What warnings should I be aware of before using this product?
Do not use if you are allergic to esomeprazole. You should not use this product if you have trouble swallowing food, vomiting with blood, or bloody or black stools. If you have heartburn with lightheadedness, sweating, or dizziness, these may be signs of a serious condition, and you should see your doctor.
When should I stop using the product and see a doctor?
Stop use and ask a doctor if your heartburn continues or worsens. You should also stop use if you need to take the product for more than 14 days or need to take more than one course of treatment every four months. Other reasons to stop include if you get diarrhea or develop a rash or joint pain.
