If you are taking any other OTC or prescription medications, talk with your healthcare provider before using Delsym® products. Delsym® 12 Hour Cough liquid is pain-reliever free. Please read the back of the pack for warnings about taking Delsym® 12 Hour with certain prescriptions.
Can children use 12 Hour Cough Liquid for Adults?
For children 12 years of age and over: 10 mL every 12 hours not to exceed 20 mL in 24 hours Children 6 to under 12 years of age: 5 mL every 12 hours, not to exceed 10 mL in 24 hours Children 4 to under 6 years of age: 2.5 mL every 12 hours, not to exceed 5 mL in 24 hours Children under 4 years of age: Do not use
How soon after taking Delsym® 12-Hour Cough Liquid will I begin to feel relief?
Some individuals may start to feel relief soon after their first dose, while it may take others longer or even several doses before feeling relief. If you have any additional questions about your symptoms, please speak with your healthcare provider.
Can I use another measuring device in place of the cup provided with the Delsym® 12-Hour Cough Liquid for adults?
No. Please only measure with the dosing cup provided. Do not use the dosing cup with other products.
