Applying a graduated compression pattern that is highest at the ankle and decreases progressively up the leg, these stockings help promote increased venous blood flow velocity and reduce the risk of deep vein thrombosis (DVT) and thromboembolic disease in patients with limited mobility during recovery. The knee-high style is specifically designed to reduce venous stasis below the knee in situations where thigh-length stockings are medically contraindicated, providing targeted lower-leg protection in a comfortable, easy-to-manage garment. The contoured seamless construction and inlay circumferential knit maintain the proper compression pattern, prevent slippage, and eliminate harsh ridges for a smooth, non-constricting fit. The closed toe, full-foot nylon construction provides comfortable all-day coverage, and calf circumference is used to determine correct sizing. This Large / Regular stocking fits a calf circumference of 15 to 17.5 inches and a leg length up to 18 inches.

How Do You Use or Apply This Product?

Measure the calf circumference at its widest point and the distance from the bend of the knee to the bottom of the heel to confirm correct sizing before use. Turn the stocking inside out to the heel, place the foot inside, and gently pull the stocking up the leg, smoothing out any wrinkles or folds. The stocking should lie flat against the skin with no bunching. Confirm that the heel pocket is correctly positioned and the top band sits just below the knee without rolling or constricting. Inspect the skin and circulation regularly during wear as directed by a healthcare provider.
