Hydrocolloid Skin Barrier is able to provide an easier way to apply a sealing barrier without any irritation to the skin. It also provides protection around a stoma that can be used to fill some uneven areas around the skin. Solid hydrocolloid skin barrier can be cut into strips to provide extra protection around the stoma or to fill in uneven areas surrounding the stoma prior to applying an appliance.
- Placed under the appliance to protect skin and assist with appliance adhesion.
- Use as is or cut into the size needed to provide protection around the stoma or fill in uneven areas.
