Warnings: For external use only. Use only as directed. Do not apply Accu-Therm gel pack directly to skin; use with a cover or soft cloth to protect the skin from burns or frostbite. Individuals with circulatory or diabetic condition should consult a physician before using this product.
Caution: Check for leaks before use. If leaking or punctured, discontinue use and contact Medline. For ages 2 and up. Adult supervision is recommended when using on children. Gel may not heat evenly in the microwave; knead and check temperature before use. If gel pack begins to expand while being heated in microwave, stop heating and let the pack cool. Do not reheat gel pack more than twice in one hour. Excessive heating may cause gel pack to rupture or leak.

What are instructions for use?
Cold therapy instructions for use:
- Place gel pack in freezer for at least 1 hour.
- Remove from freezer and wrap the gel pack with a soft cloth.
- Apply to the area to be treated for no more than 20 minutes unless otherwise directed by a physician.
- After treatment remove the gel pack from the cloth and return to the freezer.
Hot therapy instructions for use:
- Place Accu-Therm gel pack in the center of the microwave. Lay flat.
- Heat at full power for 45 seconds (for the 5" x 10" pack) or 2 minutes (for the 10" x 12" pack), based on a 1200w microwave.
- Remove and knead pack to evenly distribute the heated gel inside the gel pack. If the pack is too hot to knead, let the pack cool.
- Test the pack on the underside of your wrist to determine if the temperature is comfortable.
- If the pack is too hot, let it cool before applying.
- If the pack needs to be warmer, flip and rotate the pack and microwave for an additional 20 seconds.
- Repeat steps 3-6 until desired temperature is reached.
- Wrap Accu-Therm gel pack in a dry soft cloth and apply to desired area.
