Geri-Care Docusate Sodium Liquid is a liquid stool softener that contains the active ingredient Docusate Sodium (50 mg). This liquid stool softener is cherry-flavored. This medication generally produces a bowel movement in 12 to 72 hours. You should not use this medication for more than one week unless directed by a doctor. Suitable for those 12 years and older. Each teaspoonful (5 mL) contains 5 mg of sodium.
