About Dale Hold-n-Place Foley Catheter Holder, Leg Band

It can be a struggle to keep catheter bands in a comfortable place for patients, while also preventing accidental removal. The Foley Catheter holder leg band is a helpful device for both short term and long-term catheterized patients. It allows for maintaining tube placement without using tape, which is especially beneficial when a patient’s skin is thin or delicate. The catheter leg band is made of a soft, stretch material that allows the band to stay in place without sliding up and down the leg and fits both children and adults. Tabs on the band lock the catheter in position, helping to prevent urethral erosion, bladder spasms, and trauma. This catheter holder fits all types of Foley catheters.

Key Benefits & Features

  • Reduces the likelihood of unexpected or traumatic catheter removal.
  • The Stretch material of the band keeps the garment in place while the attached fasteners keep the tube secure.
  • Fits adults and children.
  • It allows for maintaining tube placement without using tape.

Who should be using this product?

This product will benefit patients who currently utilize any type of Foley Catheter

How do you use or apply this product?

Place the band around the patient’s leg, the product label should be pointing to the inside of the leg. Stretch the leg band in place and secure it with the Velcro tab. If you can fit two fingers between the patient’s leg and the band, proper compression has been achieved. Place the tube over the center of the green tab, then with the catheter tube in the desired position, loop the thin portion of the green tab over the catheter and through the opening. Secure the catheter in position by pulling green tabs in opposite directions and place against the band.
