Cardinal Health Curity abdominal pads are sterile dressings that are suitable as a primary or secondary dressing. The Curity abdominal pads consist of a soft outer non-woven layer and fluff filler to absorb and disperse fluid. These pads absorb more fluid than ordinary ABD pads for fewer dressing changes. All four edges seal to prevent lint residue and leaking. Extra large sizes have 2 edges sealed. These pads are best used as a primary dressing for abdominal or other large incisions (large trauma sites), and as secondary dressings for over heavily exudating wounds, cushioning and moisture protection.
