Promogran Xeroform Petrolatum Dressing is made with 3% Bismuth Tribromophenate to Promogran Prisma Matrix is a dressing composed of a sterile, freeze dried composite of 44% oxidized regenerated cellulose (ORC), 55% collagen, and 1% silver-ORC. Silver-ORC contains 25% ionically bound silver, a well-known antimicrobial agent. Promogran Prisma Matrix maintains a physiologically moist microenvironment at the wound surface, and is conducive to granulation tissue formation, epithelization, and optimal wound healing. When exposed to exudate, Promogran Plus Matrix transforms into a soft, conformable, biodegradable gel, allowing contact with all areas of the wound. This dressing is clinically proven to maintain an optimum wound environment to help with tissue formation and healing. This product is intended to be used to manage wounds healing by secondary intent, including: Diabetic ulcers, Venous ulcers, Pressure Ulcers, Ulcers caused by mixed vascular aetiologies, Traumatic and surgical wounds. Promogran Plus Matrix is a primary dressing that can be cut to fit the wound with scissors and must be covered with gauze or a non-adhering hydropolymer dressing to help maintain the optimal wound healing environment.

Premogran Plus Matrix is indicated for the management of wounds healing secondary intent which are clear of necrotic tissue including:

• Pressure ulcers
• Diabetic ulcers
• Venous ulcers
• Ulcers caused by mixed vascular aetiologies
• Traumatic and surgical wounds

How do you use or apply this product?

Cut to fit the wound with scissors and cover in gauze or a non-adhering/ hydropolymer dressing to maintain a moist wound healing environment. If no exudate is present or to rehydrate, use Saline or Ringer’s solution to wet.
