Why is water no longer clear when mixing with SimplyThick EasyMix?
The new formula has additional ingredients and it has changed the way the product appears in a clear liquid. We've changed the formulation of gums to allow for easier mixing. We have also changed the formulation of acidifier to allow for less residual flavor. In doing so we have found we have to give up a little on appearance when mixing with water or any clear liquid. We have found the positives to this new formulation outweigh the discoloration that may occur.
Is SimplyThick EasyMix vegan?

Will using SimplyThick EasyMix cause any concerns with people having existing GI issues?
SimplyThick EasyMix is free of pathogens (as all commercial food products should be). We have no reason to suspect the new formulation has any impact on any bacterial infection in the human body.
What is the shelf life of SimplyThick EasyMix?
The product is safe to use for 12 months after its manufacture date, either opened or unopened shelf life. There is no reason to discard product up to and including this date. After 12 months, there is not a safety concern, but the product may not thicken as efficiently and you may need to use more.
How do I dispose of SimplyThick EasyMix thickened beverages that aren't consumed?
It is OK to dispose of unused thickened beverages down the drain. But it is recommended to run the faucet water as you do so. SimplyThick EasyMix breaks down like any other food when it gets to a treatment plant.
What beverages will SimplyThick EasyMix not thicken?
Certain supplements are not compatible -- Boost Breeze and Resource 2.0 are examples. Generally they are high protein, fruit flavored supplements. The high protein interacts with the thickening agent in SimplyThick EasyMix. The pH of these supplements is lower to provide a "fruity bite", however, it also transforms the protein into a state incompatible with SimplyThick EasyMix. High protein supplements are compatible with SimplyThick EasyMix.
Is SimplyThick EasyMix OK if it gets frozen?
SimplyThick EasyMix can be frozen and thawed. If you notice any discontinuities in the gel, simply invert the bottle a couple of times.
