About Primer 4" Modified Unna Boot with Calamine

The Primer 4" Modified Unna Boot with Calamine is a non-raveling thread locked gauze bandage that has been evenly impregnated with a non-hardening paste of zinc oxide. It is indicated for use to dry the oozing and weeping of poison ivy, poison oak, or poison sumac and for managing extremities (e.g. varicose ulcers) requiring protection and support. The Modifed Unna Boot with Calamine is ideal for managing venous stasis ulcers, lymphatic edema, minor sprains, strains, fractures, thrombophlebitis and skin grafts on burn wounds. It is made without preservatives and gelatin – which would prevent the hardening or caking of the bandage. The Modifed Unna Boot with Calamine comes packaged in a unique vacuum-sealed pouch that keeps it fresh and easy to store. With calamine included, this boot provides a soothing effect to irritated skin.
